FAQs

Question: Who hires a life coach and why?

Answer: Anyone who is wanting to make their life better and willing to do the work required to make it so.

Question: Why is coaching different from counselling?

Answer: Generally counsellors will explore your past and any emotional issues or help you with a crisis. Coaching, however, focuses on what is possible. You'll explore where you are now, what your strengths and needs are and explore ways of enhancing the present as well as mapping out your way to a better future.

Question: What is your coaching philosophy?

Answer: I know that we all have the capacity to live fuller, richer lives and I am committed to helping to find your own vision and make it come true for you.

Question: How long do clients typically work with you?

Answer: Most work with me for a minimum of two months, but I offer a free initial consultation to explore with you if I am the right choice of coach for your needs.

Question: How do you handle confidentiality?

Answer: Whatever is said in the session or by email remains entirely confidential. I keep client records on my computer and this is passworded and all documentation is in a locked cabinet. I comply fully with the Data Protection Act.

Question: In your opinion, when does coaching not work?

Answer: It cannot work if the client is unwilling to commit to the process.

Question: What do you feel is your speciality as a coach?

Answer: Helping people to achieve a work/life balance, and to see themselves as a worthwhile part of the universe.

Question: Would you refer me to someone else if another speciality was needed?

Answer: Of course.
